Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Nine
Friday 28th October 2016 - Today we went to Southend where we met Grandma and Grandad at Adventure island. I went on a boat and a pink elephant with Mummy...
...and a dinosaur with Grandad
But the only thing I really loved was playing with my Grandad in the ball pool. Luckily he had a lot of time to spare
Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Eight
Thursday 27th October 2016 - Today we went to Tesco for lunch and Halloween pumpkins and came back with this spooky skeleton costume
We chose the designs and Mummy carved the pumpkins for us. Can you guess which one mine is?
Herbie and his baby sister came to play...
...she wasn't at all interested in my pumpkin

Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Seven
Wednesday 26th October 2016 - Today started much like any other.. me in my pajamas, some breakfast and then some drawing with Clara...
...and then Daddy said I could go and play at Cheryl's house. I was so excited that he said he'd never seen me get dressed so quickly. We played at home and went to the park too. So happy to be feeling better
Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Six
Tuesday 25th October 2016 - Today Grandma and Grandad came and I started to feel a lot better...
...I'm getting my strength back to restore myself to mega rascal
Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Five
Monday 24th October 2016 - This morning I took myself upstairs to Clara's bed and decided to catch up on some sleep. Mummy and Daddy said they would have preferred me to sleep at night time...
I'm still very chicken poxy but Mummy wondered whether I was on the mend by the afternoon
Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Four
Sunday 23rd October 2016 - Today I woke up with chicken pox everywhere, which Mummy said made her feel heart-broken. I had a bath with a porridge sock and then got all snuggly again in my Thomas jammies
It was Ed's birthday so we decided to make him a birthday video. I was a bit too worried about my chicken pox with the first one...
...but I got into it after that. Happy Birthday Uncle Ed. Hope to see you soon when I'm feeling better
Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Three
Saturday 22nd October 2016 - This morning Mummy took Clara out to a dancing class and I stayed at home feeling really sorry for myself with Daddy
I cheered up a lot when Mummy and Clara came home and we made crispie cakes with Daddy
Day Seven Hundred and Forty-Two
Friday 21st October 2016 - Today I started to feel really poorly. I stayed at home in the warm with Mummy in my dino jammies and had a sleep

Day Seven Hundred and Forty-One
Thursday 20th October 2016 - Today I woke up with chicken pox so I spent the morning at home playing with Mummy. My friend Nancy dropped off my birthday present, which was more Duplo so we made a fire engine and a truck, a crane on wheels and a car with a tower on it.
Clara, Poppy and Riley came back and we played for the afternoon, until it all got too much for me and I fell asleep on Mummy
Day Seven Hundred and Forty
Wednesday 19th October 2016 - Clara tried on her new tap shoes and danced around the house so I tried on Daddy's old trainers and did the same!
Day Seven Hundred and Thirty-Nine
Tuesday 18th October 2016 - A great afternoon of playing and play doh at home with Grandad...
...and my Grandma too
Day Seven Hundred and Thirty-Six
Saturday 15th October 2016 - Today was a day of adventure. We got the cable car across the river...
...stopped off for a bite to eat in the O2 centre...
...and then caught a boat on the Thames to Greenwich
Clara and I scooted and cycled across Greenwich, stopping for a look at the Cutty Sark...
...and all the way through a tunnel under the Thames...
...until it was time to head back on the DLR
Day Seven Hundred and Thirty-Five

Day Seven Hundred and Thirty-Four
Thursday 13th October 2016 - After a morning of shoe-related dramas, which resulted in Mummy taking me to Westfield and letting me chose my own boots, we got the DLR to the Museum of London Docklands. There was a new water feature for us to play with. It had stones and boats and fish jigsaw puzzles
There was a brand new pirate ship with pirate outfits. I needed no encouragement to dress up...
...and nor did Clara. Shiver me timbers!

Day Seven Hundred and Thirty-Three
Wednesday 12th October 2016 - Here's another one of me looking dapper in my new dino jammies. Clara went back to preschool today and I went to nursery. Mummy and Daddy are hoping I don't get chicken pox. I hope I don't either
Day Seven Hundred and Thirty-One
Monday 10th October 2016 - After all the birthday fun of the weekend, today it was back to reality. Breakfast, some monkeying around with my sister and nursery

Day Seven Hundred and Thirty
Sunday 9th October 2016 - It's my birthday today, which, you'll have to forgive me, I found a little bit confusing at first, especially after yesterday's extravagance.
Fortunately, I was able to steady my nerves, with a touch of Duplo (and a ride or two on the Thomas rollercoaster) and was soon back into the swing of things.
Which was just as well because shortly after breakfast and a quick change of costume into my new dino-pyjamas, Grandma Kay and Granddad Mel arrived - with more presents!
After they were open I soon set Granddad to work on the railway.
And I even got to blow out some more candles, with Clara's help.
Once we'd eaten lunch, we said goodbye to Grandma and Granddad and then Mummy and Daddy decided to wait until the sky was thick with rain clouds before taking me out for a birthday walk round the lake.
We fed the ducks and then we decided to head off on a bear hunt, climbing over rocks, kicking our way through leaves and swishing our way through long wavy grass.
Of course, pretty much as soon as we found the bears the heavens opened and we had to run through the rain all the way back to the car. I didn't mind though, it was great fun dashing through the storm and it made coming home and sitting on the radiator all the cosier. If every day is like today, full of adventure, family and fun I think I'm going to like being 2.
Day Seven Hundred and Twenty-Nine
Saturday 8th October 2016 - Today it was my 2nd birthday party and I was bat man! It wasn't long before lots of delicious food arrived. I ate ALL the strawberries (or at least took a bit out of each of them) before anyone arrived
But before long, people came to celebrate with me. My friend James...
...and Nancy too
Grandma and Grandad, Uncle Ed and Aunt Amy...
...and Uncle Rob and Lois too
Some of mine and Clara's friends came too, but only those who had already had chicken pox
Mummy and Daddy had bought us a Thomas rollercoaster for the party, which made me so happy. I went up and down on it all day
And we used it as a slide too
We spent a bit of time watching Ben and Holly and Thomas in the front room...
...until someone said there was cake
Daddy had baked me a big chocolate cake...
...and Mummy made a little Thomas for the top of it
Everyone sang Happy birthday to me and I was delighted
What a great party
