Day Four Hundred and Forty-One

Thursday 24th December 2015 ~ Today was Christmas Eve so we went up to All Saint's Church where my sister was an angel in the Nativity. I wanted to get up there too but Mummy said I'd have to wait until next year

Maybe then I can be one of the animals or even a shepherd or a king?

When we got home, Clara and I wore matching pajamas (which made our Mummy so happy). We had a Christmas cuddle...

...and danced around the living room to Christmas music

There was time for a quick family portrait before bed. Don't I look cute and rascally? Daddy thinks I'm going to enjoy Christmas

We hung my stocking on my cot for Father Christmas and I fell straight to sleep, dreaming of angels and reindeer flying through the night sky

Wednesday 23rd December 2015 ~ Today we went to All Saint's church in Highams Park for the nativity dress rehearsal. My sister's going to be an angel. It was hard to follow what was going on...

...but I really liked playing with the big Christmas tree

Tuesday 22nd December 2015 ~ This morning I entertained Mummy and Clara by making animals sounds. I'm getting so good at talking!

And then Clara's friend Eli, his baby brother Ralph and cousin Lois came for a mini Christmas party...

...I wasn't really in party mood so I had a long sleep instead!

Monday 21st December 2015 ~ Today Mummy and Daddy picked us up early from nursery for a magical adventure. We drove to Audley End where we went on a little train

It chugged along and I looked out of the side of the carriage...

...as we went into the forest under the moonlight

There were lots of things to see - teddy bears having a picnic, polar bears, elves running around...

...and a magical grotto with reindeer...

...where Father Christmas lived

Sunday 20th December 2015 ~ Today I went to my first ever pantomime - Jack and the Beanstalk with Mummy, Daddy, Grandma Catherine and Grandad John. 

I really loved it, especially the cow...

...so much so that I wanted to get onto the stage to play with them!

Saturday 19th December 2015 ~ Today we went on a trip to Mersea Island

It was very blustery but so beautiful in the winter sunshine. And I was all snuggly with Mummy in my snow suit

We had fish and chips on the beach as the sun went down...

...and then we went on a boat...

...which was so exciting!

I was a cheeky monkey and enjoyed standing up and peering over the side. Luckily I stayed in the boat where it was nice and dry

Mummy loved it!

And we stayed until the sun set, when it was time to go home to bed

Friday 18th December 2015 ~ This morning when I woke up, Clara was next to me in bed, which made me very happy...

We had a great day playing together, but when the time came to pick up some dinner, we were forced to cross sabres. Which would it be, pasta or pizza?

Pasta of course! Was there ever any doubt that the dark side would triumph?

Thursday 17th December 2015 ~ Mummy bought us some tinsel to play with but I like playing with toilet rolls the best. My favourite thing is to tear bits off them when Mummy isn't looking and put it down the toilet. Being a baby is so much fun!

Wednesday 16th December 2015 ~ Today we went to the All Saint's Christmas party.

Tuesday 15th December 2015 ~ Today Grandma and Grandad looked after us. We went to the Cheeky monkeys christmas party and then got home in time for lunch. Delicious, thank you...

Monday 14th December 2015 ~ Clara and I like getting home from nursery and behaving like mega rascals until bedtime. Climbing, scampering, eating things and generally being as mischievous as possible. Mummy said it's a good job we're so cute!

Sunday 13th December 2015 ~ This morning I had a long sleep in the car. I was obviously exhausted after such a busy week. After a delicious Sunday roast in a pub in Loughton, we ventured into the forest for a long walk. We collected sticks and listened for birds. I really wanted to get down in the mud but Daddy insisted on carrying me like a baby rucksack.

Saturday12th December 2015 ~ Today we went to see Father Christmas in the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge on the edge of Epping forest. I was a little scared of him!

Afterwards we went for a look around outside. There was a snow machine...

...and a Christmas tree...

...and reindeer too

Then we went out to an Italian restaurant for Grandad John's Birthday. I had chicken and pasta bolognese, much of which ended up on my face! Happy Birthday Grandad.

Friday 11th December 2015 ~ Today Mummy had to go to work so Daddy looked after us. He took us to a Forest school session in Hackney. I got so muddy!

Thursday 10th December 2015 ~ Thursday is a nursery day and I'm really enjoying it. But I love going home, getting into my jimmies and having a cuddle with Daddy before bed

Wednesday 9th December 2015 ~ Today we went for another exciting adventure along the Southbank. I loved the Royal Festival Hall, I enjoyed dropping forks and wooden sticks off the edge so Clara could go and get them for me!

We even found a great park near the London eye. Oh look, a wooden pig!

Tuesday 8th December 2015 ~ Today we went to IKEA for a wander round and a play

Monday 7th December 2015 ~ Dark times! I awoke late to find everyone in a hurry, breakfast already cold and Mummy and Daddy halfway out the door in a panic of rushed goodbyes. I asked Hedgehog what did he think, but he just growled some nonsense so I hung him upside down as punishment.

Sunday 6th December 2015 ~ Today when I woke up, Uncle Ellis and Phil were there. It was really good to catch up with them

Then we had a lazy time, taking selfies in our pyjamas. Aren't I cute?

And Clara and I had a long, lazy nap too when Daddy drove us to the supermarket. What else are Sundays for?
