Day One Hundred and Ninety-Eight

Friday 24th April 2015 ~ Today Mummy and me went into town and met Mummy's friend in the Royal Festival Hall. We had lunch in Wagamamas. I had rice and mange tout. Check me out using chopsticks!

I wasn't very happy afterwards and Mummy thinks it's because my second tooth is coming through (on the right-hand side at the bottom). I soon cheered up when she gave me a taste of her coconut macaroon

Day One Hundred and Ninety-Seven

Thursday 23rd April 2015 ~ Today, I went with my Daddy and sister Clara to a big park.

I was a bit too small to go on the slide or climb up the tree house, but I had a lovely time on the big swing with Clara, going round and round and round.

After a long play, we met Mummy for some food at an Italian restaurant. I had bread sticks, like a big boy and got to sit in my own chair. I felt very grown up and everyone said what a happy baby I was.

Wednesday 22nd April 2015 ~ Today Mummy, Clara and me walked to Lloyd park for a picnic with lots of Clara's friends and my friend Dorothy. Everyone made a big fuss of me.. especially Marianne and my Aunt Christine

Marianne wanted to hold me and give me cuddles. Luckily my sister didn't mind too much

They let me on the swing with them too and I had a great time!

Tuesday 21st April 2015 ~ This morning I tried pear for the first time. I loved it!

Then Grandma and Grandad came and took us for a picnic in the Olympic park

We had lots of fun!

Monday 20th April 2015 ~ Today Mummy took me to the cinema to see Cinderella again. Doesn't she know that my brain develops more in the first year of my life than at any other time afterwards? It increases by 0.4% a day. I mean, it's a good movie but it's not exactly Shakespeare.

Luckily the day had more in store such as lunch with my friend Dorothy. I ate asparagus and green beans, pasta and tried a chip. I think I could get used to this...

...When I got home, I had a roll around in the garden and tried a piece of grass too!

Sunday 19th April 2015 ~ I've started to eat vegetables. I don't like anything mashed up on a spoon but I'm more than happy to hold it in my hand and eat it myself

I've been eating sweet potato and butternut squash and they're not bad at all

I have my own cup and although I can't drink properly out of it yet, my sister is helping me have a go

Saturday 18th April 2015 ~ Today we went across the river on a cable car. Mummy said I'd been on it before when I was a little baby but I didn't remember. We went up really high and could see across London

I loved looking out of the window with my Daddy

We went swimming, which I loved. And then we had a really long walk along the river...

...all the way back to the cable car

There was time for a quick bite to eat in the sunshine - I had carrot and mashed potato...

...and then it was time for home and bed

Day One Hundred and Ninety-One

Friday 17th April 2015 ~ Today it was just Mummy and me at home. We had a lazy morning. I am teething at the moment and like chewing on anything I can get my hands on. One tooth has just popped through at the bottom. My very first tooth. How exciting.

I also had a play in the Jumperoo we've borrowed from my Aunt Christine. It's lots of fun, though I don't like to stay in it for longer than 5 minutes, much to my Mummy's dismay!

Mummy and me went for a walk around Highams Park lake, all through the wood...

Everything looked beautiful in the sunshine. Mummy said Spring is here...

Tuesday 14th April 2015 ~ This morning I wore my new jeans for the first time and had a play with my sister in her bedroom

Monday 13th April 2015 ~ Today Mummy took me to see Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck at the cinema, which was a documentary about the lead singer of a big rock band called Nirvana. It told the story of him growing up with his Mummy and Daddy, leaving home, learning to play the guitar and getting into a band with his friends. There was lots of old video of his life, scary-looking cartoons and music, which made my Mummy sing and rock me up and down. He disappeared at the end and I didn't know what had happened; Mummy told me not to worry. She said she found it a bit long and was left wondering about lots of things they didn't talk about. She also said it made her nostalgic for her mis-spent youth and that everything was much less rock and roll these days. 6/10

Sunday 12th April 2015 ~ I was so exhausted after all the excitement of the weekend. Luckily we headed straight home after breakfast and I got to have a long sleep in the car...

...When I woke up, we were home at last and I was very happy to be back

Day One Hundred and Eighty-Five

Saturday 11th April 2015 ~ Today it was my Uncle Ed and Aunt Amy's wedding. I got dressed up in a suit and tie, which matched my Daddy's. I even wore little black shoes...

First we went to the church for the ceremony. It was quite long and I had to be quiet so I kept myself busy by eating the Order of Service

Then we went on to the reception venue which was Tonbridge School. We arrived just in time for the photographs

Here I am with my Uncle Ed and my cousins too. 

I had a good time catching up with everyone and meeting some new people too - like Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel's friends Derek and Lin. My cousins made a big fuss of me.

Before long it was time to sit down to dinner. Daddy thought I might go to sleep for the night but I wanted to stay up and watch all the exciting things happening

In fact, I stayed up for hours and didn't go to bed until about 10 o clock! I had fun though, even if my Mummy and Daddy were tired. I mean, it's not every day that your Uncle and Aunt get married. Happy wedding day Ed & Amy.

Friday 10th April 2015 ~ Today was the day before Ed and Amy's wedding. We all went to Grandad John and Grandma Catherine's house and Daddy took this gorgeous photo of me

Thursday 9th April 2015 ~ Today was my half birthday - I was a whole six months old! My sister Clara decorated a little cake for me and everyone sang Happy Birthday.

Much to my Mummy and Daddy's surprise, I ate the cake at top speed...

...and I loved it! 

Mummy and Daddy think I might enjoy my food and now that I'm six months, I'm ready to go.

Esme liked the cake too and licked it off my hand, which really made us laugh

Day One Hundred and Eighty-Two

Wednesday 8th April 2015 ~ Today Mummy took me to see Home at the cinema with my sister and cousins Levi and Ferdi. It was an animated film about aliens taking over the earth. They sucked lots of people out of their homes with a big hoover thing and moved into the houses themselves. A little girl was left behind and was sad because she lost her Mummy. She made friends with an alien called O and they travelled around together in a flying car with her pet cat. They had lots of adventures and there was some singing too. Mummy got a bit bored but I thought it was fun... and I was happy when the little girl found her Mummy again. 6/10

Monday 6th April 2015 ~ Today we went to the farm and then to Highams Park for a picnic. I ate strawberries! My sister and cousins went on an Easter egg hunt, played in the park and flew kites...

...I mainly rolled around on this blanket but had a lovely day
