Day Eighty-Two

Monday 29th December 2014 ~ Today Daddy drove us back to Southend to meet my family. We saw Mummy's Aunt Maureen, her cousins Gemma and Louise and their children...

...Then we went to meet Mummy's Aunt Julie

She was lovely

And just when I thought the excitement was over for the day, my Aunt Melanie, Uncle Laszlo and cousins Levi and Ferdi turned up. It was really great to meet them all but by the time we left, I was ready for bed!

Day Eighty-One

Sunday 28th December 2014 ~ Today we all went to Grandad John and Grandma Catherine's house in Kent. I didn't sleep very well last night so I spent a lot of the afternoon asleep in my car seat

I woke up after lunch and watched my cousins playing with their new Christmas toys. I was too little to join in so I enjoyed some cuddles with Aunt Veronica instead. I'd not been to Grandma and Grandad's house before so it was good to see where they lived

Luckily my sister was there to look after me. She told Mummy when I was hungry...

...and gave me cuddles too!

Saturday 27th December 2014 ~ I had a relaxing day today, hanging out with my new teddies

Day Seventy-Nine

Friday 26th December 2014 ~ Today was my first Boxing Day and it started well with a relax in bed with Daddy in my new Christmas babygro. 

When I'd woken up from my morning nap, the house was full of people wanting to smile at me and give me cuddles - both my Grandmas and Grandads, Aunt Amy and Uncle Ed.

...cuddles and more cuddles. I could get used to this!

After a costume change, it was time for us all to sit down for lunch. Daddy gave me the crown from his cracker but it was far too big for my tiny baby head...

...luckily Grandma and Grandad bought me my first baby cracker, which had a baby-sized crown that fit me perfectly and matched my outfit. We finished lunch and opened more presents...

...and by then I was all Christmassed out

Day Seventy-Eight

Thursday 25th December 2014 ~ Today was Christmas Day. My first ever Christmas. Clara said it was going to be fun and she was right! It started with presents in my stocking from Father Christmas, which Clara helped me look through...

...she helped me play with them too. Oh look, a squeaky monkey in a stripy jumper!

And a hungry Christmas monster top. Don't I look cute?

Before breakfast we went downstairs to open one present. I helped Daddy open these lovely champagne glasses from Mummy...

...I got a book from Mummy and Daddy with my name in it

On Christmas Day, I did quite a bit of relaxing in my great Christmas outfit...

...some reading of my new book...

...and some hanging out with Mummy opening presents. Uncle Ellis and Uncle Phoy got me a great stripy hat and mittens to keep me warm. I'm going to be the best dressed baby in town.

Grandma and Grandad came over for the day...

Everyone had a delicious lunch that Daddy cooked and I had milk and more milk

After lunch there were even more presents - like this light up football from Nanny. Clara helped me open them and showed me what to do

It was such a fun day that by the end of it, I was totally exhausted and fell asleep on Grandad

Day Seventy-Seven

Wednesday 24th December 2014 ~ Today it was Christmas Eve so after some sleeping at home, we all went out to a Christmas carol service, where I did some more sleeping on Daddy

We went to the pub for a drink afterwards and I woke up just in time for everyone to wish me a Merry Christmas

Then we met Uncle Ed and went home for stories by the fire. Once Clara was tucked up in bed, Mummy, Daddy and me watched a Christmas movie with Uncle Ed

I really enjoyed laying on Mummy's lap...

...until I eventually went to sleep

Before bed, we hung my stocking up at the end of my bed for Father Christmas

Day Seventy-Six

Tuesday 23rd December 2014 ~ Today Grandma and Grandad came. Grandad spent a long time making me smile and laugh

I wasn't feeling very well and found it hard to sleep. But cuddles with Grandma helped...

...and so did chatting with Grandad

Finally I fell asleep in the evening, which gave Daddy some time to ice the Christmas cake and Mummy time to wrap some presents. I don't know what Christmas is but Daddy says he thinks I'll like it

Day Seventy-Five

Monday 22nd December 2014 ~ Today it was just Mummy and me

When Daddy got home, I got my first Christmas card from Mummy and Daddy. I wasn't too impressed!

Day Seventy-Four

Sunday 21st December 2014 ~ Today my Mummy went to a spa with her friend Tammy and left me with Daddy. I slept for about 20 minutes, which gave Daddy enough time to do absolutely nothing. Then I woke up and gave him hell until Mummy came home.

Day Seventy-Three

Saturday 20th December 2014 ~ Today Mummy, Daddy, Clara and me went on the train to the Southbank 

We met Uncle Ellis and Uncle Phoy. It was really good to see them again.

Day Seventy-Two

Friday 19th December 2014 ~ Today when my sister was at nursery, I hung out with Mummy and Daddy. I spent some time in my big boy bed watching the birds.

We picked my sister up from nursery and went to a Christmas wonderland. I slept through it!
