Day One Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-Six

Saturday 21st July 2018 - Today it was Grandad's 70th Birthday and he was having a beach party so Clara and I each made him a card with a picture of him on the beach 

We went down to beach hut 115, which Grandad and Grandma had rented for the week and started getting ready for the party 

Grandad was very happy

We went exploring with Levi and Ferdi, looking for crabs and jellyfish 

Daddy had made Grandad a big chocolate cake and Mummy decorated it to look like his allotment 

We waited patiently for everyone to sing Happy Birthday 

And then Grandad did a speech where he invited everyone to his 80th birthday in the garden shed 

Grandad was very happy 

We had a brilliant time eating cake, playing on the beach with our cousins and then going for a swim

I stayed in for ages until I saw a jellyfish and then I ran way and back to dry land

We stayed until the sun was ready to go to bed

Friday 20th July 2018 - Today after Clara finished school, we all went straight to Southend, where we met our cousins Levi and Ferdi...

 ...and started enjoying Grandad's 70th birthday week of fun

Thursday 19th July 2018 - This morning Mummy came to my preschool graduation. I'm not leaving but I am going up to the next year after the summer holidays. 

Lisa had told my Mummy how nicely I'd been singing in rehearsals but today, in front of all those people, I just wasn't feeling it..

...so Robin and I sang like gremlins! 

Everyone else sang the song 'When I grow up' from Matilda but I didn't want to so I had a rest at the back

Who says you need to do the same as everyone else? Mummy tried to bribe me with sweets but I didn't want to sing today

Katy did eventually persuade me to put my hat on and give my Mummy a smile

But I chose a more studious pose for my official portrait

I much preferred being in the stocks at Clara's school fun day!

Tuesday 17th July 2018 - Today it was Esme's 10th Birthday. We bought her a new pink sparkly collar, some dreamies and some delicious cat biscuits. We sang happy birthday to her too!

 Sunday 15th July 2018 - After Clara's swimming lesson today, Daddy took us to my favourite park - the pirate park! 

 And he took this very cute photo of me to send to Mummy, who said  she was missing us 

Mummy's flight home was delayed so Daddy took us to the pub for tea to cheer us up while we were waiting

 Saturday 14th July 2018 - This morning Mummy still wasn't home but Daddy made us a breakfast picnic to have in our playroom 

And later Lois and Luna came to play while our Daddies watched the football

 Friday 13th July 2018 - Today Mummy had to go away for work so she wasn't there when we woke up. But she left us breakfast and a picture each decorated with sweeties, which really made me smile 

And today it was my preschool trip to Highams Park lake, which I really enjoyed.. especially climbing trees

Thursday 12th July 2018 - England lost the football so they won't be going into the world cup final. And today the clouds came back after days and days of sunshine.

Wednesday 11th July 2018 - After school today we went to watch the football at Juni and Robin's house. England were playing Croatia in the world cup. Robin and I got bored and decided we'd rather play and watch cartoons

Tuesday 10th July 2018 - Today Grandma and Grandad took us for a picnic and a play in Highams Park

Monday 9th July 2018 - Mummy picked me up from Barbara's with the bike today and me, her and Clara cycled up to Highams Park for Clara's last rainbows session. We had a picnic tea of pasta and vegetables and donuts with custard. Then Mummy and me played in the park, climbed the tree and played on the zip wire until it was time to cycle straight home to bed

 Sunday 8th July 2018 - This afternoon Mummy took us to the Olympic park 

 We cycled and scooted through the park and played in the fountains, which were brilliant 

Then we went to the park with the big fish where we made a friend and hunted for treasure

 Saturday 7th July 2018 - Today we were going to Kent to celebrate Grandma Catherine's birthday so I made her this great birthday card with a sun on it

When we got there, all of our cousins were there already and we got straight in the pool - where we spent most of the day 

We had a great lunch of mini sausages, pizza, strawberries and as many cakes and party rings as we could find! 

 We sang Happy Birthday to Grandma with this giant chocolate cake all covered in fruit. Grandma looked very happy and so did Luna 

After lunch, we played and played until we were all ready for bed

Friday 6th July 2018 - Today it was so hot again that we filled up the paddling pool and cooled ourselves down with the hose 

And Daddy made us a delicious BBQ dinner

Wednesday 4th July 2018 - Daddy wasn't here tonight because he had to go away for work. I made a video to tell him I was missing him and that I hoped he came back soon

 Monday 2nd July 2018 - Scooting to rainbows with Mummy and Clara after another good day at preschool and with Barbara. Barbara says I'm just lovely, good as gold and she loves my laugh
