Saturday 21st October 2017 - Today Mummy and Daddy tidied up the front room
And then we went to IKEA for lunch and a play in the park.
Mummy also left us in the play area for an hour while she went shopping. And everyone was happy!

Saturday 14th October 2017 - It arrived at last - my dinosaur party!
I had a dinosaur costume...
...inflatable dinosaurs, dinosaur balloons...
...and a big dinosaur slide
...which looked like an actual dinosaur!
All my friends came and had a brilliant time bundling on top of each other at the bottom of the slide
Daddy made me an amazing cake with 18 little dinosaur cakes. And everyone sang Happy Birthday to me
I waited for my friends to stop singing
And then I blew the candles out (with a face already covered in cake and chocolate!)

Friday 13th October 2017 - Today we went to Butler's retreat for a run around and a play in the forest. I climbed trees with my friend Robin...
...and Hector too. We went to the pub for lunch and then back to pick Clara up from school
I insisted on wearing my dinosaur head.

Day One Thousand and Ninety-Two
Monday 9th October 2017 - Today was my 3rd Birthday. I was so excited that Clara and I went straight downstairs to open my presents.
She was very kind and helped me open them and played with me until it was time for her to go to school
Mummy and Daddy got me a playmobil castle, which Mummy put together while Daddy took Clara to school. There were lots of knights and warriors and red Indians
There were lots of dinosaurs and a dragon too
I put them all on the castle
No clothes, a castle, knights and warriors with weapons, dinosaurs and dragons. I was the happiest boy ever!
Finally I agreed to get dressed but only because my t shirt had a t rex and a shark on it!
And I decided I wanted to go to the Owls soft play. I had pizza and chips and a blue slushy for lunch
And a really fun time playing with Mummy and Daddy. Spinning...
...climbing...
...and laughing
We picked Clara up from school and went home. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me. And Daddy had made me a cake, which had three candles
Even the big noisy dino that Clara bought me enjoyed the cake
Mummy read me a new orchestra book, which was from John and Eileen next door
And I went to sleep a happy boy, next to my knights and my dragon

Sunday 8th October 2017 - We went for a Sunday roast in the Owl pub, where we met my friends Robin, Nancy and Penny
We had our dessert outside so we could play in the park...
...and climb on trees
We went for a walk through the woods where we collected sticks and walked through the swishy grass
And I stopped to do a bit of what I called shoe fishing!

Saturday 7th October 2017 - It's my 3rd birthday on Monday and when Mummy and Daddy asked me what I wanted to do as a birthday treat, I said I wanted to go to a funfair. So this afternoon, after Clara had finished ballet, we went to Old Macdonald's farm, where we went on the rides
Stopped for a bite of watermelon
Played in the playground
Went on the carousel...
...and looked around at all of the animals, including bunnies and guinea pigs, meerkats and piggies (my favourite)
