Day Nine Hundred and Forty-Nine

Thursday 18th May 2017 - Mornings generally start like this - with Clara and I in front of the television watching Disney cartoons before breakfast

After breakfast we went to play in the park where we saw our new twin friends Ella and Isabelle

Then Clara hired a pink bike and I hired a turquoise scooter

I scooted all the way to the Marina where we watched the fish

Later on the sun came out at last so Clara and I did a little dance to celebrate 

Day Nine Hundred and Forty-Eight

 Wednesday 17th May 2017 - It was another cloudy day so we drove to Ancient Olynthos, where there were lots more ruins to explore

 Clara and I found a cherry tree with lots of ripe cherries to eat. They were delicious

 We walked up the hill to the ancient city and saw a real life tortoise. He peeked out to say hello! 

 By the time we got to the top, I was too tired to walk around so I sat on a rock with my stick while Mummy, Daddy and Clara went exploring

 I did walk across to have a look at a very old mosaic, which Daddy told me not to walk on

I mostly wanted to go back to the cherry tree for some more cherries. Clara and I sat on the old stone wheels and counted the cherry stones. Tinker Tailor, Soldier... 

Day Nine Hundred and Forty-Seven

Tuesday 16th May 2017 - Today started off with a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It's a buffet restaurant so I could have whatever I wanted. Naturally, I had a full English! 

It was a cloudy day so we went to explore the Temple of Ammon Zeus in Kallithea, where I clambered over the rocks and collected pine cones

 Then back to the hotel for dinner and an explore outside before bed

Monday 15th May 2-17 - Today we got up really early to ride on an aeroplane to Thessaloniki, where we picked ups car and drove to our beautiful hotel on the coast in Halkidiki

We unpacked and then went for an explore of the marina before dinner

Sunday 14th May 2017 - This afternoon we went to Teddy's birthday party, where we played with rockets and hooked ducks for prizes

And then we travelled to Gatwick airport where we stayed in a really exciting hotel room, where we could see the aeroplanes from the window. We had bunk beds and Daddy said it was like staying on a boat

Saturday 13th May 2017 - Today Daddy took us to Clara's friend Livia's 5th Birthday party

 Friday 12th May 2017 - Today Forest Fridays began with a long walk through the woods. Obviously I found a brilliant stick to take with me

And I enjoyed running away with Hector and Teddy at any opportunity

We went hunting for bugs in the woods and with a little bit of help, I found a centipede

 I wasn't the only person who enjoyed playing with sticks

We had a great time, despite the rain

Monday 8th May 2017 - I'm enjoying nursery much more these days, especially since I got moved upstairs into the big boy room. But it's always good to be home

Sunday 7th May 2017 - Today I took my sword with me because we went to visit Mountfitchet castle

It was a Motte and Bailey castle made to look like it did in the olden days, complete with animals, waxwork people and torture devices. Mummy took great delight at shutting us in here. Luckily she let us out before she went home

We fed lots of fun looking chicken...

...and dressed Daddy up like a knight

I tried a helmet on too but it was hard to see where I was going

After the castle, we looked around the Toy Museum on the hill, which was full of old toys and teddies. And these puppets who started dancing when we walked past!

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty-Seven

Saturday 6th May 2017 - Today we went to Clara's preschool fete. There were toys to buy (and play with), cakes to eat, games, ducks to hook and a bouncy castle

There was a big cake stall and my Mummy had made little troll cupcake toppers. I had one of the little yellow baby ones, which Clara said was called Smidge 

We got toys and prizes and lucky dip surprises. It was a great afternoon

Friday 5th May 2017 - Today we went to Grow Wild in Lloyd park... 

...and had an amazing time storing around, exploring and playing with sticks

Thursday 4th May 2017 - Today Mummy's friend Becky came to visit with her baby Louis. Clara and I loved him. We kept bringing him things to play with, including most of the contents of our bedroom!

And when he went home, this happened...

Tuesday 2nd May 2017 - Today we went to the park and I showed Grandma and Grandad just how fast I could scoot. I'm lightning quick! 

I stopped scooting for some fun in the park...

 ...then it was home for a bounce with Grandad...

...and a bite to eat in front of the tv!

Monday 1st May 2017 - Today was May bank holiday so instead of nursery, we met Grandma and Grandad at Gunpowder Mill for a day of exciting activities. Rocket making and launching...

...science experiments...

...and being a bee! Apart from the very noisy world war two re-enactment with lots of naughty men with guns, I had a brilliant day
