Day Eight Hundred and Ninety-Six

Friday 23rd March 2017 - After a very quiet day yesterday, Mummy said we were going on an adventure. We went on the bus and the train to Westfield. We played in all the play areas, on the little cars and buses and ended up in the Disney store for ages, which suited us just fine. I fell in love with this giant pig who I made tea for
Later, when the sun came out, we went to the playground and played hide and seek in the giant fish park
It was such a beautiful day that Mummy decided we should venture into the Olympic park. There was hardly anyone there.
Mainly just us and the ducks...
...and all of these amazing dens to explore, which Clare and I pretended were our houses
We had such a brilliant afternoon

Day Eight Hundred and Ninety-Five

Thursday 23rd March 2017 - Fun and games at home with Mummy and Clara. Good to be all together again

Day Eight Hundred and Ninety-Four

Wednesday 22nd March 2017 - When's my mummy coming home?
Oh.. there she is!

Day Eight Hundred and Ninety-Three

Tuesday 21st March 2017 - I forgot all about missing Mummy when I woke up and realised that Grandma was sleeping in her room. We read stories in bed and had a fun day at home.
Grandma said she was feeling poorly so I was the doctor. Come on Grandma, take your medication like a good Grandma
I loved building a tower with my number blocks
And I specially loved knocking it down again
Just as I thought I might be missing Mummy again, Grandad suggested an umbrella picnic.
We picnicked under three umbrellas. Grandad obviously doesn't believe in bad luck at all!

Day Eight Hundred and Ninety-Two

Monday 20th March 2017 - This morning I wasn't very happy at all. I woke up feeling a bit poorly and sad that my Mummy wasn't there...
...I cheered up a little bit when talking to Mummy on Daddy's phone. But not much!

Day Eight Hundred and Ninety-One

Sunday 19th March 2017 - Today we went with Mummy to Stansted Airport and had to say goodbye as she was going away to conference in Belfast for a couple of days. Daddy says Belfast is in Ireland and that he'll take us there one day
Daddy took us home in time for tea and some tv before bed. I hope my Mummy comes back soon

Day Eight Hundred and Ninety

Saturday 18th March 2017 - Today Clara had her first ballet exam and Daddy had some things to do at home. So we did a bit of this, a bit of that and played for a while in the garden

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Nine

Friday 17th March 2017 - Today was the return of Forest Fridays. We were very excited. Mummy was slightly less excited because she said that when we were here last year, she spent lots of time running after me and making sure I didn't fall face first in a lake/muddy bog/prickly bush
Today was very different because I've grown up so much. Here I am listening out for the birds in the trees
And here I am collecting sticks for the fire
And here I am catching up with my friends and hearing about where we need to go to find the wild garlic
Once we'd collected the sticks and wild garlic, we head back to make a fire and to cook some garlic bread.. which was delicious
And the afternoon was full of activities, such as learning how to use a saw.
I can't wait until next time

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Eight

Thursday 16th March 2017 - Today we went on an adventure with Poppy and Riley to Spitalfields
We had meat balls and rice in Leon and a run around the market
Then we went across to the park next to Spitalfields farm.
There was the best bouncy roundabout to play on
We had time to visit the animals in the farm. We saw a goose having a bath and the donkeys going to bed for the night. And ae found this great tricycle made for two
When we got back to Spitalfields, Mummy bought us ice-creams as big as our heads.

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Seven

Wednesday 15th March 2017 - I am so speedy on my scooter that people stop Mummy on the street to ask how old I am!

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Six

Tuesday 14th March 2017 - Today I took a tumble...
Crawled commando-style through a tunnel...
And melted hearts with the cutest smile on the slide the playground had seen all year.

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Five

Monday 13th March 2017 - Today Clara dressed up in 23 colours and patterns in aid of raising money for her pre-school Rainbow colour day. I on the other hand dressed up like a dinosaur in aid of being a mega rascal.

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Four

Sunday 12th March 2017 - Today, even a photoshoot to show off my new t-shirt from Grandma Catherine took on a horror movie vibe...
And that trip to the Lego store in Westfield left an indelible mark. Who on earth makes child-sized mallet and masks - it's the stuff of nightmares!

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Three

Saturday 11th March 2017 - This picture says it all, today, I was such a rascal, Daddy threatened to send me straight to jail and even took a mugshot to assist with any future investigations.
Not even the garden of Grandma Catherine and Granddad John could wear me out, although the same couldn't be said for Daddy who seemed throughly exhausted after 20 laps with the pink go-kart and didn't seem interested at all in playing fetch the ball.

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Two

Friday 10th March 2017 - Back to the lake to feed sweetcorn to the swans and coots. I mostly liked throwing the sweetcorn on the swan's backs and laughing. They didn't mind too much as it tended to fall off eventually!

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-One

Thursday 9th March 2017 - Today i had my Thursday morning date with Nancy. Every Thursday morning, Mummy suggests different things for us to do but I just want to go to Tesco to meet Nancy and eat watermelon.
Our Mummies said we looked like terrible twins and wanted to get a good photo of us looking cute together. Nancy was not keen...
...and I wouldn't stay still for long. But I did give Mummy a little smile

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty

Wednesday 8th March 2017 - Today was International Women's Day so Mummy used her phone to make me into Marie Curie.
Ka-BOOM!

Day Eight Hundred and Seventy-Nine

Tuesday 7th March 2017 - I'm always climbing. Climbing and jumping, walking and climbing.. I can even climb up the biggest slide in the playground, much to Grandma's amazement
Coming down was fun too
And after all that climbing, I needed a little rest before starting all over again

Day Eight Hundred and Seventy-Eight

Monday 6th March 2017 - Pussycat pussycat, where have you been?
I've been up to nursery on my big boy scooter

Day Eight Hundred and Seventy-Seven

Sunday 5th March 2017 ~ Despite Mummy's best efforts I spent a worrying part of this morning eating raw biscuit dough.

But I still managed to find room for the finished article, who'd have thought?

Day Eight Hundred and Seventy-Six

Saturday 4th March 2017 ~ After a leisurely lie-in, today began in quiet contemplation, just me, my nice shirt, an enormous plate of pancakes and...

Holy smokes, was that a train?!

It was! How absurd! What an excellent thing to watch while eating pancakes!

I didn't really want to leave the pancake-train-box, but after some liberal encouragement and the promise of a party, I soon found myself in bucket being spun at high speed - it's a wonder those pancakes didn't put in a repeat appearance!

After the world had stopped spinning I came to at a party with a piece of cake on a plate in my hand just in time to catch Clara trying to swipe a piece, don't worry gentlefolks, I soon saw her off!
