Day Four Hundred and Sixteen

Sunday 29th November 2015 ~ Today we went for Sunday lunch at Martine and Zuri's house

I did a bit of drawing (she is an artist you know!)

And I played with Clara and Zuri in Zuri's room. He has so many exciting toys. I had a brilliant time. And lunch was delicious.

Saturday 28th November 2015 ~ I'm teething quite badly (Mummy and Daddy think my molars are coming through) and that means I'm waking up a lot at night time. So this morning, Daddy and I had a lie in

When I got up, Mummy helped me write a letter to Father Christmas. I told him I'd been a good boy - apart from all that biting people and not sleeping!

This afternoon, I was delighted when my Grandma Catherine an Grandad John arrived. Grandma Catherine gave me lots of fuss and said she'd like to take me home. Mummy and Daddy would like some sleep so they considered it for a while, but Clara said she'd miss me too much

Day Four Hundred and Fourteen

Friday 27th November 2015 ~ This morning we went for a little play in the park opposite Tesco. I was quite taken with this pink buggy, which belonged to my friend Penny

This afternoon, Clara's best nursery friend Livia came round. They watched the Little Mermaid and danced around in the front room. I was so happy to be allowed to play with them too

Day Four Hundred and Thirteen

Thursday 26th November 2015 ~ Today I went to nursery. Lauren took this photo when I climbed into the toy box. I'm enjoying it a lot. I love playing with the toys and with my friend James and I only cry a bit when I'm tired.

My walking is getting better and better and I'm saying lots of words now too - up, down, no, baby, teddy, eggy and Grandma (very clearly)

Day Four Hundred and Twelve

Wednesday 25th November 2015 ~ Today it was Mummy day and we have a new Wednesday routine. We go to a great playgroup in Highams Park, we go for lunch in Clara's favourite cafe, we go to Tesco and then we go home for a play before dinnertime. Today we went to the library too and I had a really long sleep.

Tuesday 24th November 2015 ~ Today we went to the Owls soft play in Fairlop water. I was feeling a bit tired and out of sorts because my teeth are coming through...

Monday 23rd November 2015 ~ It was a nursery day today. Daddy said I seemed very happy when he picked me up. I was happy to get home and play with my stick too!

Friday 20th November 2015 ~ Today we went to my friend James' house. He's my best nursery friend - Lauren told Mummy that we play together in home corner!

Monday 16th November 2015 ~ I was poorly again in the night and awake for much of it so Daddy and I went to sleep downstairs on the sofa. I didn't go to nursery. I stayed at home in the warm and played with Daddy instead.

Sunday 15th November 2015 ~ Today we went for a mini picnic in the park. I had some sausage roll and a taste of Clara's strawberry milkshake

And we went for a bike ride in the woods too. I love riding on Daddy's bike

 Saturday 14th November 2015 ~ Today we went to a party in Highams Park. I walked and danced and played with inflatable instruments...

...and I got serenaded by a girl. Because I'm adorable.

Friday 13th November 2015 ~ Today we went to the Museum of Childhood to meet Henry. We played in the sandpit...

...and watched as the trains went round and round

Thursday 12th November 2015 ~ Today I was a poorly boy so I spent a lot of the day sleeping with my hedgehog

Wednesday 11th November 2015 ~ This morning Clara and I played sleeping in her room. This is how I sleep at nursery - on a cushion on the floor. Lauren told Mummy that they give me a pat and I go straight to sleep. Mummy's not sure why it doesn't happen at home!

Then we went to a brilliant new playgroup where I did some drawing. 

Day Three Hundred and Ninety-Seven

Tuesday 10th November 2015 ~ Grandma and Grandad took us to IKEA for a bite to eat. I'm wanting to feed myself more and more these days.. although a lot of the time, the food ends up on the floor or flying across the room

Day Three Hundred and Ninety-Six

Monday 9th November 2015 ~ It was a nursery day today. Lauren and Gill told Mummy that I'm settling in nicely. They also said I'm sitting at the table and eating all my food. But when Mummy and Daddy took me home, I still had room for Chinese. It was delicious!

Day Three Hundred and Ninety-Five

Sunday 8th November 2015 ~ Today, started rather quietly with a trip down to the marina and an inspection of the royal fleet.

Things got a little more raucous when shipmates Ed and Amy arrived. I gave a rousing speech in their honour and Captain Daddy could barely keep himself from cheering loudly.

After that I took some time to show the troops some close combat moves - that's right Amy you're pinned and if this was a wrestling match we'd be counting you out.

Ships inspected, troops rallied, marital prowess demonstrated, now it was time for a delicious lunch of roast chicken and apple crumble, three cheers for the cooks!

Finally, it was time for quick bite of cheese and a drink before an afternoon nap. That's right Daddy, hand over the cheese,  I've earned it.

Day Three Hundred and Ninety-Four

Saturday 7th November 2015 ~ I love being at Grandma and Grandad's house. They have so many different toys I've never seen before. I played with a marble run and these push along emergency trucks. I loved exploring and practising my walking too.

We went out on the pier today and then saw Aunt Julie. 

In the evening, Mummy and Daddy took Clara out for fireworks and I stayed in the warm with my Grandma and Grandad who put me to bed

Day Three Hundred and Ninety-Three

Friday 6th November 2015 ~ Today we went on the train to Southend to stay with Grandma and Grandad. Grandad met us from the platform and I was so happy to see him!

It was straight back to Grandad's house for toys and buttered crumpets

And then we went to visit my Great Nan. She tried to give me a kiss but I shook my head!

I was happy to be back with Grandad in his favourite chair in front of the tv

Day Three Hundred and Ninety-Two

Thursday 5th November 2015 ~ Today Mummy picked us up from nursery and took us to see some fireworks. I was tired and upset that I couldn't get down and crawl around because it was too wet... and Mummy worried that the fireworks were too loud for my tiny ears... but I was quite fascinated by all the colours and funny sounds. A I had a nice sleep on the walk home.
