Saturday 20th October 2018 - Today Daddy looked after us while Mummy got things ready for our holiday. We bake banana bread (because I said I wanted to make a cake)
Went to the park whilst Clara was at ballet
And went trampolining too!

Day One Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty-Six
Friday 19th October 2018 - Today Mummy and I took out rainbow unicorn and our dragon cupcakes to preschool for their bake sale
Dino and I helped Mummy put the cakes out. And we helped eating a lot of the cakes and cookies too!

Thursday 18th October 2018 - As a great Thursday surprise, Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel came today. We spent the afternoon playing and making cakes for my preschool bake sale tomorrow. Clara made rainbow unicorns and I made green dragon cupcakes

Wednesday 17th October 2018 - Daddy was home late because he got stuck on the tube but it was ok because Barbara's Mummy looked after me and then Anna's Mummy Rachel walked me home with some yoghurt raisins! Mummy says we're lucky to have such good friends

Sunday 13th October 2018 - I was feeling better today so we ventured into town - for lunch in Leon (I had my usual of meatballs, rice and broccoli), a trip to Mummy's office
And our first ever visit to the big lego store, which was brilliant!

Saturday 13th October 2018 - Clara had ballet and a play date today. Daddy took me to the park. My mood hadn't improved much

Friday 12th October 2018 - Today I still wasn't feeling very well and I didn't want to go out. Mummy said we had to get Clara from school. I agreed but only if she took dino and me in the buggy in our pajamas

Thursday 11th october 2018 -I still wasn't feeling 100% today and my rash hadn't gone down so I didn't go to preschool. Mummy and I had a pyjama day instead and we watched tv and made the rockets from the craft kit Robin got me for my birthday

Wednesday 10th October 2018 - My rash came back today so Barbara asked Daddy to come and pick me up
I didn't really mind at all!
Day One Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Six
Tuesday 9th October 2018 - Today was my fourth birthday. I woke up and went downstairs to find lots of presents on the table for me to open, including the donut cat squishy I asked for from Clara
And a new scooter from Mummy and Daddy
I decided that it would be nice to have beans on toast for my birthday breakfast
And to try out one of my presents - a night light that looks like a piece of toast!!
Clara had to go to school but we made plans to meet her later on at the circus
Mummy took some birthday portraits of me with her new camera lens, including this one of me in my new rainbow birthday jumper
And just before it was time for Clara to go, my birthday cake appeared and everyone sang happy birthday.
There were so many candles to blow out. Luckily Clara was still there to help me

Mummy and Daddy asked if I wanted to go out to the park but instead I decided I wanted to play with the playmobil castle I got for my birthday last year. So that's what we did
We met Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel in McDonald's which is where I wanted to have lunch and then when Clara had finished school, we went to the circus. We'd never been before so we were very excited to see what it was like
There were stall selling blue candy floss and popcorn
And our seats were right at the ringside. There were clowns and acrobats and people doing magic with fire and men dancing with lasers
It was amazing and some of it really made me laugh
In the break, Grandma said she would buy us some candyfloss, which made me very pleased
It was nearly as big as me!
And almost as delicious
We loved the circus and asked when we could go back again
And there was even time for a quick run around outside until it was time to go to bed.
What a great birthday. I think I'm going to enjoy being 4.

Monday 8th October 2018 - After my party yesterday, I opened my birthday presents. I got some great presents including wooden fish and chips and ice-cream for my shop and this Rubble t-shirt from my best friend Robin which I wore for preschool today

Sunday 7th October 2018 - The day has come at last - my 4th birthday party. I was so happy that I couldn't wait for it to start. We had to spend the morning getting all the food and decorations ready
And then we went to Wingrove Hall dressed in our super hero outfits - me in my super hero onsie and Clara dressed as bat girl
A giant spiderman bouncy castle arrived and so Clara and I had a bounce before our friends arrived
There were masks to wear and decorate. Even Grandad Mel made the effort.. arggghh!
it didn't take long for me to get into character
Lots of my friends arrived and we had great fun bouncing together and running around
Clara made sure I was alright
And when the cake arrived, there was a giant firework which set the fire alarm off...
...and scared me a little!
Everyone sang happy birthday
And I blew out the candles
We all sat round admiring the cake and waiting until it was time to try a piece.
It was a great party.. exactly what I'd wanted :)

Day One Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Three
Saturday 6th October 2018 - Daddy made my birthday cake last night. It was a big, round chocolate cake. And Mummy made me a jungle and a beach with palm trees. Clara and I decorated it with super heroes and animals
They all went on the cake in record time. I decided each super hero needed an animal as a pet!
They were friends and not fighting
I was very happy with it and can't wait to have a piece at my party tomorrow

Day One Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-Two
Friday 5th October 2018 - Today it was Mummy's birthday. We took her cards and presents in bed
Here's the card I made. It's a picture of Mummy on her birthday.. and the baby too!
In the morning Mummy and I went for a drink and cake with Natalie and Nancy. It was really good to see my friend Nancy again
Grandma and Grandad came and took us for lunch at the Owl pub. I had a giant fish, chips and peas and ate most of it. Yum!
Daddy got Mummy a new camera lens for her birthday, which she enjoyed taking photos of me with in the garden
Luckily I stayed still for two seconds so she could get a couple of good ones
When Daddy got home, we gave Mummy her cake and sang Happy Birthday
