Thursday 25th August 2016 - Today was Clara's 4th Birthday and she said she wants to spend the day at Grandma and Grandad's house so that's what we did. We went out to play on Grandad's allotment and Clara showed me the different vegetables that Grandad's growing
There were lots of butterflies and Grandma blew bubbles too, which were all shiny in the sunlight
After lunch, we went to East Beach. The sea had gone away so we went for a walk on the mud
I mostly enjoyed pouring water on Grandma's feet
We walked until the sea started to come back in
And paddled through the water back to the beach
We had hot cross buns on the sand and Grandad made me laugh
Grandad and Daddy tried to fly a kite but it just wasn't windy enough
We went back to Grandma and Grandad's for dinner and jelly and birthday cake
What a brilliant day
