Friday 9th October 2014 ~ Today, I had my first trip to the cinema! Mummy smuggled me in behind a big medium box of popcorn and I got to sit on her lap while she and Daddy watched Gone Girl. Although I spent most of the time all sleepy and cuddled, from what I could gather the film was a stylish, slightly trashy yarn about a marriage that ploughs headlong into murder and madness. Mummy thought Ben Affleck did a really good job at portraying a dull brute of a husband and Daddy insisted he knew Rosamund Pike's character was a psychopath from the beginning - of course you did, Daddy! Four stars!
After the cinema, we went on a walk through London Fields, where the wildflowers are still blooming and the sun was just about breaking through the clouds.
We even managed to squeeze in a picture of all three of us, doesn't Daddy need a haircut!
Then it was time for lunch in the lovely little Italian with the car on the wall...
And of course, more cuddles, before we went home to pick up Clara from nursery.
