Day One Thousand One Hundred and Fifty-Two

Friday 8th December 2017 - Today was my friend Robin's actual birthday so I started the day by sending him a happy birthday video
When Clara got home from school, we wrote christmas cards for our friends. Mummy helped me with mine

Day One Thousand One Hundred and Fifty-One

Thursday 7th December 2017 - Today we went to Robin's 3rd birthday party. It was a princesses and super heroes party. Everyone dressed up as a princess (or kept their school uniform on!) Not me, I was a super hero
And I had lots of fun running around. I didn't like it when Snow white and Elsa arrived and started singing. Then I wanted to go home!

Day One Thousand One Hundred and Fifty

Wednesday 6th December 2017 - This morning I got Father Christmas in my advent calendar
And after Clara finished school, Daddy took us to go and buy our Christmas tree. Clara and I decorated it together
And Mummy finished it when we went to bed.

Day One Thousand One Hundred and Forty Nine

Tuesday 5th December 2017 - Back home to tell Grandma Kay all about my holiday

Day One Thousand One Hundred and Forty Eight

Monday 4th December 2017 - Today we went back across the chain bridge
And through the christmas market where I posed for a photo in front of the Christmas tree and St Stephen's Basilica
We went to a very old cafe for a lunch of toast and sausages
Followed by a giant and very delicious marzipan cake
We walked a long way through the city until we got to a zoo cafe, where we had a drink and got to meet lots of different animals, including lots of cats, a chameleon and this cute bunny, who kept trying to jump off the table!
Then it was time to race back to our apartment to get a taxi to the airport and a plane back home. I love Budapest. I hope we come back soon.

Day One Thousand One Hundred and Forty Seven

Sunday 3rd December 2017 - Today was an amazing day. We met our cousins for a delicious breakfast...
...and then Laszlo drove us up to the Buda hills, where there was snow everywhere. I had never seen anything like it and I loved it!
I had so much fun picking up the snow and playing with it
we had to rush up to the station as we were going on a little train to see Father Christmas
Looking out of the window, all of the trees were covered in snow and it looked like a magical fairyland
We all waited patiently for Father Christmas
And when he arrived, I sang jingle bells so beautifully to him, I nearly made Mummy cry. To say thank you, Father Christmas gave us a really big bag of sweet and chocolate!
We had an amazing time playing in the snow and throwing snowballs

On the way back down the hill, we saw a little train we could ride on. So Laz bought us all some more chimney cake to keep us going until dinner time and we had a ride
Luckily, just as it was getting too cold, we arrived at a cosy restaurant for dinner
And just before bed, Mummy and Daddy took us on a short adventure to see the lights of the city
I was quite tired by this point but it was very exciting
It looked like Elsa's snow palace...
...and we got a ride in a little railway which took us halfway back to our apartment and to bed

Day One Thousand One Hundred and Forty Six

Saturday 2nd December 2017 - Today we got up really early and flew to Budapest to visit Melanie, Laszlo and my cousins Levi and Ferdi
Our plane was a bit delayed so when we arrived, we went straight out to see the sights of the city. We walked across the chain bridge and met everyone by the Christmas market
It was great to see my cousins again. And to try the chimney cake (which is like a large donut tube coated in sugar!)
We went back to Levi and Ferdi's house
And had so much fun
