Day Eight Hundred and Eleven

Thursday 29th December 2016 - We met Penny and her Mummy and Daddy in the Owl pub in High Beech and then went for a walk in the woods
It was frosty and there was a layer of freezing fog across the ground
I felt much better when Daddy gave me a cuddle and carried me back to the car

Day Eight Hundred and Ten

Wednesday 28th December 2016 - Today we had a quiet day at the library and the park...
...and home to watch Stick man on the big screen

Day Eight Hundred and Nine

Tuesday 27th December 2016 - Today we went to Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel's house in Southend to see Melanie, Laszlo, Levi and Ferdi who were visiting from Budapest. We had a a buffet lunch and played games at home...
...and then everyone started putting on silly hats. I quite liked this turkey one but everyone decided it would look much better on Daddy

We all walked down to the beach, which Melanie explained was a Christmas tradition

We arrived just in time for sunset for our yearly family photo. Everyone looked so silly!
Ed and Amy took me onto the beach for a play
And Levi lifted me up so we could jump together for a photo in front of the sea
We collected stones...
...and threw them into the sea
Mummy said the sky was so beautiful that we should walk to the end of the stone jetty. I walked all the way to the end of it on my own (with a little bit of help from Grandma Kay).
It was beautiful but so very cold that we rushed back to Grandma and Grandad's house
For cuddles with Grandad...
...fun and mischief until it was time to go home

Day Eight Hundred and Eight

Monday 26th December 2016 - Boxing Day morning and I had a lie in...
...and a lazy morning having breakfast and playing with Grandad until it was time for him and Grandma to go home
We made this Happy Birthday video for Phoy and then it was time for us to drive to Kent to see Grandma Catherine and Grandad John
Ed, Amy, Ben, Helen, Issy and James were there and we had a great time playing together...
...and opening even more presents. I got this brilliant dino jumper from Grandma, which I wanted to wear straight away
We had a delicious lunch of cold meat and mash
And we spent the afternoon playing with Issy and James and watching tv
Before it was time to go, I put my jammies on with a Santa hat, said "Ho Ho Ho" and pretending to deliver presents to everyone. I love Christmas.

Day Eight Hundred and Seven

Sunday 25th December 2016 - Today was Christmas Day. Clara and I were very excited to wake up to find that Father Christmas had filled out stockings with toys and treats. I got an Olaf pez, some glow sticks, chocolate teddies, a paw patrol toothbrush and some lights for my scooter. I also got a Duplo house and a toy puppy. How did Father Christmas know exactly what I wanted?
We went downstairs for breakfast and made some Happy Christmas videos for our friends, including Cheryl, Poppy and Riley
Before long Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel arrived and we went in the front room to open the presents under the tree. Grandad bought me a Peppa pig school set and Grandma bought me a new plate and bowl set with dinos on it. I loved them both
Mummy and Daddy got me a dino towel, which I insisted on wearing immediately
I got some wooden blocks too with lines of ants running over them, which I built into a tower
We played until it was time for lunch
Mummy had laid the table with Christmas tree napkins and mini wreaths with our names on them
Daddy prepared the lunch, with a little bit of help from Grandma and Grandad. We had prawns and cucumber and then turkey, ham and beef with potatoes and vegetables, followed by some of Grandma's trifle. It was delicious
After lunch, I had cuddles and played with Grandad...
...and Grandma too
Before bed, Grandma and I watched Strictly. Grandma said I was a very good dancer
What a brilliant day.

Day Eight Hundred and Six

Saturday 24th December 2016 - Today was Christmas Eve and Mummy said she thought it would be nice to go to the coast. Daddy agreed so drove us all to Whitstable for fish and chips on the beach. It was very cold but luckily we were wrapped up all toasty and warm
We fed the seagulls and then went for a short walk along the beach
It got so cold that we insisted on having Mummy and Daddy's scarves...
...and a warm cuddle from Mummy before they carried us back to the car
We hadn't been home long before it was time to head to All Saint's church for the Christmas eve nativity. Daddy sat at the back of the church and Mummy sat on the floor at the front with the children so I spent my time running backwards and forwards between Mummy and Daddy with teddy, bunny and penguin. No one seemed to mind
I watched a bit of the nativity too. I especially liked the carols
We went home afterwards for matching space pajamas and hot chocolate in front of the fire
We watched Going on a Bear Hunt...
...and Stickman too
We put mince pies and carrots out for Father Christmas and the reindeer and hung our stockings on our beds. We were fast asleep in no time...
..and didn't wake when Father Christmas arrived to fill our stockings and bring us presents

Day Eight Hundred and Five

Friday 23rd December 2016 - Today we went to Nancy's house for her 3rd birthday party, where I mostly enjoyed playing with a balloon
Thomas was there too, and it was really good to see him again
We ate party food and played a rather tense game of pass the parcel.
Happy birthday Nancy
